How Much Is The Value Of Anies Baswedan's Wealth Before Lengser From The Position Of Governor Of DKI Jakarta?

JAKARTA - Anies Baswedan has officially resigned from the position of Governor of DKI Jakarta since last October 2022. Now, Anies has the status of a presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election which is promoted by the NasDem Party, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and the Democratic Party.

Then how much is his last asset after he resigned his position?

Judging from the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN), Anies last reported on March 31, 2022 for the 2021 period. This means that the report was submitted before he released his term of office.

Officials are actually required to report their wealth when they are only carrying out their duties, while on duty, and after serving. This rule is based on the Corruption Eradication Commission Regulation Number 2 of 2020 Article 4 Paragraph (1).

Returning to Anies, he recorded a debt of Rp7,606,761,819 from the total assets of Rp18,562,541,503 in LHKPN for the 2021 period. Thus, his wealth shrank to Rp10,955,779,684.

Furthermore, he was recorded as having assets in the form of land and buildings in South Jakarta; Sleman, Yogyakarta; and Ponorogo, East Java with a total of IDR 14,715,962,000.

Next, Anies recorded ownership of a 2016 Honda Odyssey with a value of IDR 450 million; a 1968 Vespa Sprint motorbike with a value of IDR 50 million; and an EX250V Kawasaki motorbike in 2018 worth IDR 50 million. So that the total assets of the vehicle he owns reach IDR 550 million.

It did not stop there, Anies recorded other assets in the form of other movable assets worth Rp1,367,366,531; securities worth Rp61,070,000. and cash equivalents of Rp1,208,221,107.

Currently, the KPK is still waiting for officials to report assets in 2022. They can submit their reports until March 31.
