Anas explained that there were 8,138 people who were confirmed positive for the COVID-19 virus since 2019 until now.

The Central Bangka Health Office also noted that 83.84 percent of residents had received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine or 128,507 people out of a total of 153,277 targeted residents.
Meanwhile, there were 109,920 people who had received the second dose of vaccine, or 71.71 percent, the third dose (of booster) was 48,358 people or 31.55 percent and the fourth dose of vaccine was 580 people.
