JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has carried out traffic engineering (traffic) at the intersection of Kalideres Station, West Jakarta starting today. This is based on a review by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono this morning.

Heru said that traffic engineering will be carried out on Jalan Semanan Raya and Jalan Inspeksi, which often occurs in congestion during peak hours. Heru said that the traffic flow on Jalan Semanan Raya will be made in one direction, heading north.

Heru also assigned his staff to carry out routine supervision so that the traffic engineering ran smoothly.

"Later there will be a trial that will be monitored by the Mayor (West Jakarta, Yani Wahyu Purwoko) and Kadishub," said Heru.

In addition, Heru said he would propose to repair roads in the form of asphalting on bumpy roads that often pose obstacles to passing vehicles. Efforts to repair the road have also been coordinated with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).

Not far from the location of the traffic conditions review, Heru also checked the area as handling the impact of the rainy season, precisely in Gang H. Lani, RW 03 Semanan, Kalideres.

The plan is that the DKI Provincial Government will optimize the waterways at that location to minimize the impact of the rainy season which is still ongoing today.

West Jakarta Mayor Yani Wahyu Purwoko explained that there were several locations that were affected but officers had been handled quickly.

"Today there are 12 points as high as 15 cm which in one hour have receded and dry. Since last night, water suction has carried out floating pumps, because portable pumps cannot enter the environment," he said.
