The Lebak Regency Government Is Optimistic That The Beach In Its Region Will Be The Primadona For Tourism At The 2025 New Year Celebration

LEBAK - The Lebak Regency Government believes that beach tourist destinations in its area will become a magnet for tourists who want to celebrate the turn of the new year 2025.

"Last year's experience at the turn of the new year was confirmed by beach tourism to be a favorite of local tourists," said Head of the Lebak Regency Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) Imam Rismahayadin in Lebak, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, December 28.

The beaches targeted by visitors include Bagedur Beach, Pulo Manuk Beach, Cibobos Beach, Suka Hujan Beach and the Sawarna Beach area.

The natural panorama of the southern coast has made local tourists favorites to enjoy the turn of the new year.

In fact, beaches in the Sawarna area, such as Legon Pari Beach and Karang Taraje Beach are more attractive, because white sand is sloping and safe to swim. Meanwhile, Karang Taraje with the waves became an icon of Sawarna.

The advantages of the southern coastal tourist destination are the mainstay of the tourism sector in Lebak Regency. However, currently extreme weather is still happening on the south coast.

Thus, his party asked tourists not to swim around the coast to avoid marine accidents.

"We urge tourists not to swim at the turn of the new year, because of the bad weather," he explained.

He said other enchanting and beautiful natural tourist destinations and still beautiful and have tourist attractions, such as the Country above the Clouds of Mount Luhur, Citorek, Cibeber District, Lebak Regency.

In addition, other natural tourism is the arung of the Ciujung River in Lebak Gedong District and the cultural tourism of the Bedouin community in Leuwidamar District.

Therefore, his party is optimistic that the target for tourist visits in 2024 of 1.5 million can be realized, because currently it has reached 1 million.

Meanwhile, the remaining 500 thousand tourists can be achieved at the turn of the new year and there will be a surge in visitors and lead to an increase in the economy of the local community.

"We hope that tourists will have a positive impact on improving the community's economy and can absorb employment opportunities," concluded Imam Rismahayadin.
