Special Cell at Salemba Prison for Bharada E Convict Killer Brigadier J

JAKARTA - Bharada Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu or Bharada E will be executed at the Salemba Penitentiary (Lapas) Central Jakarta Branch, today. Later, Eliezer will be placed in a special cell.

Public Relations Officer of the Directorate General of Corrections (PAS), Rika Apriliani, said the cell where Bharada E will serve his 1.5-year sentence will take into account recommendations from the Victim Witness Protection Agency (LPSK) and the Attorney General's Office.

"Considerations related to securing, coaching, and also granting basic rights and also conditional rights", said Rika to VOI, Monday, February 27.

However, Rika did not elaborate on the condition of the cells that Bharada E would later occupy. This included mentioning special cells that were safer.

Rika only repeated her statement regarding Bharada E's placement and would consider various recommendations.

After Bharada E is already at Salemba Prison, there will be a clear explanation of the condition of the cell of the convict in the murder case of Brigadier J.

"Certainly later when it has been placed we will convey the cell", said Rika.

For information, the 1.5-year prison sentence for Bharada E has been signed or has permanent legal force. This is because Eliezer and the public prosecutor's camp decided not to appeal.
