"He asked to separate, his plastic bag was diverted. We missed his plastic bag and then put it in his bag. He pretended to add groceries. After he finished he asked for more goods, he asked for cigarettes," explained Harjono, explaining the perpetrator's modus operandi trick.

Then when another buyer entered, the perpetrator quickly left the shop with 30 packs of cigarettes.

"He came out with a cigarette pack, so after 30 packs he ran away. Thank God we arrested my belongings against the perpetrator near Buaran Baru station," said the victim.

According to the victim, theft incidents in the area have often occurred. According to Harjono, shop owners in the area are also often targeted by victims of theft with the same mode.

Even so, until now the victim has not made a police report because his belongings have returned.
