JAKARTA - Central Mamberamo Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak was brought to Jakarta today. He is now on his way to the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta for further investigation.

"It's still on the way," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Monday, February 20.

Ali explained that the plane that took Ricky departed from Papua at around 08.25 local time. It's just that he did not specify the details of the trip.

Ricky Ham Pagawak was arrested by the KPK on Sunday, February 19 yesterday. He was found at his hiding house in Abepura, Jayapura.

It was stated that Ricky had fled to Papua New Guinea before returning to Papua. He fled last July after being named a suspect.

Previously, the KPK named Ricky Ham Pagawak as a suspect in the alleged bribery project in Central Mamberamo Regency, Papua. It is suspected that he received money from contractors who wanted to get projects in Central Mamberamo with a value of Rp. 300 million to billions of rupiah.

In addition, Ricky was named a suspect in the alleged crime of money laundering. There were a number of assets confiscated, including eight plots of land and buildings and five cars.
