The management of the Surabaya Zoo (KBS) is still mapping and determining the area limit, which visitors will cross when the night zoo opens.

"The (mapage area) is still the same looking for a good solution. We are still in the stage of consideration, such as leaving the aquarium through anywhere," said Public Relations of the Surabaya Zoo, Mochammad Alvin Sofiandy, when confirmed by ANTARA, Sunday, February 19.

In addition to the visitor area limit, mapping also considers the safety aspects of collection animals, because only the types of night animals or nokturnal will be presented.

"We also have to consider which non-turnal animals, so as not to interfere (non-Non-turnal animals)," he said.

Alvin ensured that the plan to implement night zoo had considered aspects of animal health and safety.

Therefore, the nokturnal animals that will be displayed will undergo regular health checks.

"If it is (health and animal safety) we will still consider it, always check it too. If it is open at night, we will immediately cross the cage," he said.

The management of the Surabaya Zoo is also managing the comfort of visitors, one of which is through the lighting system at a number of points that become night zoo areas.

Not only that, tour guides are planned to be placed in a number of nokturnal animal areas. This is because night zoo also aims to provide knowledge about various night animals.

"When operating, there will be a tour guide, so that people or visitors know which nokturnal animals are," he said.

The plan is that the zoo night ride will be opened this year. Zoo management also continues to coordinate with the Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA).

"If it is (the plan to open a night zoo) we will definitely coordinate (with BKSDA). To be precise what month, it cannot be conveyed, ticket prices are still being discussed," he said.
