Yogyakarta Police Holds Reconstruction Of Violence Cases At Zero Point Km: 15 Scenes With 3 TKPs

The Yogyakarta City Police Criminal Investigation Unit held a reconstruction of cases of violence in the Yogyakarta/ANTARA City Kilometer Zero Point (Km) area.

YOGYAKARTA - The Yogyakarta City Resort Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Polres) held a reconstruction of a case of violence in the Yogyakarta City Kilometer Zero Point (KM) area, Friday, February 17. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Yogyakarta Police, AKP Archye Nevadha, said the reconstruction, which consisted of 15 scenes, unraveled the incident, starting from a group of victims who accelerated vehicles in Klasingan, Yogyakarta City to violence at the Zero Point of KM Yogyakarta. "There are 15 scenes with several points there, then the alleged perpetrator has done the scene according to what was conveyed during the examination," said Archye as quoted by Antara. According to him, there were a total of three crime scenes (TKP) in the reconstruction, namely on Jalan Kleringan, Jalan Malioboro, and Zero Point KM Yogyakarta. A number of suspects, namely FN (26), YG (33), LT (23), TR (27), NK (20) were presented, except for GN (17) represented by a stunt double because they were still minors. "For a substitute role, only for children who are in conflict with the law because they are still under investigation," he said. The scene begins with the group of victims crossing Kleringan Street from the direction of Yogyakarta Monument to Yogyakarta KM Zero Point. "At the time on Jalan Kleringan, the victim's group had time to speed up their vehicle quickly before finally meeting with the alleged perpetrator on Jalan Malioboro," he said. Next, at the second TKP, on Jalan Malioboro, the alleged perpetrator tried to grab the victim's group and finally met so that there was violence in the form of beatings and stabbings at Zero Point Km. According to Archye, in the reconstruction there was an additional scene that had been approved by the alleged perpetrator. "The additional scene is when the alleged perpetrator hit the victim, then the victim parried or survived in the blow carried out by the perpetrator," he said. The results of the reconstruction, said Archye, will later complete the case files to be immediately transferred to the prosecutor's office. "We are also coordinating with the public prosecutor (JPU) regarding the completeness of the file so that we can immediately complete it and send it to the prosecutor's office," he said. According to him, the total number of suspects in the case is still six people who are currently serving a period of detention at the Yogyakarta Police Headquarters. However, the police are still investigating to investigate the possibility of other suspects appearing in the case. Previously, the Yogyakarta Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Saiful Anwar said the case began when the victim and his friends on Tuesday (7/2) at around 04.00 WIB decided to leave the rented house to just tour the city of Yogyakarta by riding a motorcycle. While crossing the area to Jalan Malioboro, the victim had time to play with motorcycle gas while raising the front tire ("standard") which then passed by the alleged perpetrator with the initials GN who was in the area. GN and the group of victims got into a dispute, mocked each other, and challenged each other while crossing Jalan Malioboro. From the direction of Malioboro, the victim's group then turned left, while the GN behind them then hit the victim from behind. This triggered a fight in the Zero Point area of KM Yogyakarta. GN, who felt defeated and beaten by a group of victims, then returned home to pick up an iron knock bar and told his friends who were hanging out. GN and his friends then went to the victim with his partner who was still at Kilometer Zero Point, until a fight and beating occurred as viral on social media. In that incident, the victim suffered abrasions due to being hit by a sharp weapon in the form of a sickle by one of the alleged perpetrators with the initials LT. The alleged perpetrators were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding acts of violence together against someone in public with a maximum threat of 7 years in prison.
