JAKARTA - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) received state booty from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

The booty of the country is in the form of a plot of land covering an area of 240 m2 and a house building covering an area of 135 m2 located in Buah Batu District, Bandung City, West Java (West Java).

Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, handed over the booty of the country directly to the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Hadi Tjahjanto at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday, February 16, was confiscated by Antara.

"With the provision of a plot of land and a house building, we will use it for official residences for employees of the West Java Province BPN Regional Office," said Hadi.

Hadi explained that currently there are 15 work units of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform/BPN that do not yet have land. Followed by 24 work units that still do not have a building. All of them are still borrowing and using the local government.

"Of course we will make the best use of this gift. We are grateful that today we have received a field and building for West Java," said Hadi.

Hadi hopes that the work unit at the Ministry of ATR/BPN can immediately get another building, especially in eastern Indonesia, which is still riding with local governments.

"We also hope that it will not only be confiscated but maybe there will be others. Especially in the eastern region, there are still many who ride local governments, such as North Kalimantan, they still don't have buildings. And we are trying to continue to make improvements," he said.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN supports the KPK's program in eradicating corruption, one of which is through electronic services.

Hadi revealed that since 2017 the Ministry of ATR/BPN has started implementing electronic services based on the Regulation of the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Number 5 of 2017, where with the enactment of these regulations, various electronic services have been implemented such as Electronic Mortgage, Electronic Roya, Certificate checking and Land Registration Certificates (SKPT).

"These four services already cover 56 percent of the total services available at the Land Office and can already break down service barriers by up to 40 percent. Of these four services, I believe I can reduce the practice of illegal levies in the field," said Hadi.

On the same occasion, KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata said it was not easy to auction off looted goods which were assets of former corruptors. Therefore, PSP is an effective way for the KPK to recover state losses and take advantage of its assets.

"Hopefully this asset delegation can be used properly, our hope is like that. So our coordination in the future can run well and our efforts to eradicate corruption can also run well," he said.
