Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni asked the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) to immediately disclose data related to suspicious transactions ahead of the 2024 General Election to law enforcement agencies for follow-up.

"PPATK must immediately open all data of these suspicious transactions so that institutions and institutions, such as the KPK, the Attorney General's Office, and the National Police can follow up on all existing findings based on their respective authorities," Sahroni said in his statement, Thursday, February 16, as reported by Antara.

He is worried that the information provided by PPATK regarding the practice of money laundering ahead of the 2024 General Election has the potential to injure the simultaneous democratic party event.

"We have started running out of time, we have to move quickly so we can prevent the worst possibilities," he said.

Sahroni stated that he did not want the information to be thrown by PPATK to the public without further action, potentially causing a commotion in the community.

"We are becoming skeptical if there is no further action regarding these terrible findings," he said.

He also encouraged PPATK to be able to participate as the frontline in realizing the better quality of the 2024 General Election.

"So, PPATK must be aware that it has a key role to play in realizing fairer and cleaner elections," he said.
