After Being Sentenced To 1 Year And 6 Months, The Elimination Of The Ethics Session Waiting For Richard

JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters has not confirmed when the ethical trial will be conducted against Richard totaling (Bharada E) after a sentence of 1 year and 6 months in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadir J).

Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that Bharada E had not yet undergone an ethics trial for the criminal case that ensnared him.

Related to this, Dedi has not announced when the ethics trial will be, because he is waiting from the Police's Professional and Security Division (Divpropam) as the executor of the trial.

"The (ethics trial) will wait for information from Propam first," said Dedi as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 15.

Previously, Dedi said that the ethics trial against Bharada E and Ricky Rizal Wibowo would be held after the criminal decision was signed or had permanent legal force.

Previously, Richard totaled that he would not be fired from the National Police. He also promised to open the Yosua case in more detail.

Meanwhile, during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday morning, the panel of judges chaired by Wahyu Imam Santoso sentenced the defendant Richard totaled a sentence of 1 year and 6 months.

The judge stated that Richard totaling was legally and convincingly proven guilty of violating Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code

This verdict is lighter than the demands of the Public Prosecutor with 12 years in prison.

Richard totaling is one of five defendants in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J, namely Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, Strong Maruf and Ricky Rizal Wibowo. However, this Police officer with the rank of Bharada received a lighter law than the other four defendants.

South Jakarta District Court Judge at the trial Monday (13/2) sentenced Ferdy Sambo to death. Then, the trial Tuesday (14/2), the defendant Putri Candrawathi was sentenced to 20 years in prison, Strong Ma'ruf was sentenced to 15 years in prison and Ricky Rizal was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
