The Police Managed To Fail To Circulate 60 Constraints Of Drugs In IKN

As many as 60 packages of methamphetamine failed to be circulated in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, which is the territory of the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara Indonesi.

The Sepaku Sector Police (Polsek), explained the North Penajam Paser Police Chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Hendrik Eka Bahalwan in Penajam, Saturday, managed to secure a man with the initials SP (42 years old) suspected of being a drug dealer on the side of the road in Semoi Dua Village, Sepaku District.

The SP suspect was detained at the Sepaku Police, and charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) or Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Narcotics Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

The disclosure of drug trafficking was based on the investigation by the personnel of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the Sepaku Police, because in Semoi Village two indications of drug transactions.

The Sepaku Police are still investigating the arrest of the perpetrators of the shabu-shabu drug trafficking, said the Police Chief, to uncover the drug trafficking network in the IKN Nusantara area.

SP, a resident of Semoi Dua Village, Sepaku District, was arrested by the police on Monday night, and found 60 packages of crystal methamphetamine weighing 15.12 grams.

When the Sepaku Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an investigation, found the SP at around 20.00 WITA was on the side of the road in Semoi Dua Village and immediately secured. "SP was immediately searched while being secured on the side of the road and found 60 packages of crystal methamphetamine," said AKBP Hendrik Eka Bahalwan.

In addition to detaining SP, the Sepaku Police also secured evidence of 60 packages of methamphetamine weighing 15.12 grams, Rp700,000 in cash which was allegedly the result of selling methamphetamine, as well as a mobile phone and three black plastic gangs.

The North Penajam Paser Police are committed to eradicating cases of drug abuse and trafficking in the local jurisdiction.

The people of North Penajam Paser Regency are also advised to actively participate in preventing acts of drug abuse and trafficking in the area nicknamed Benuo Taka.
