KALBAR - Immigration (TPI) Pontianak City provides a type of service to accelerate the manufacture of direct passports in one day at a cost of Rp. 1 million for one passport.

"This acceleration passport service is in accordance with the provisions of the circular letter from the Directorate General of Immigration Number 16 of 2019 concerning the implementation of passport acceleration services completed on the same day," said Head of Subsidy of Travel Document Service for Class I Immigration Office TPI Pontianak Tanri Firmansyah, in Pontianak, Friday, February 10, confiscated by Antara.

He said the passport acceleration service was prioritized for the needs of sick people and education (schools).

"So, the accelerated passport is indeed from the Directorate General of Immigration to facilitate applicants or people who need or need passport services on the same day," he explained.

Then, he added, specifically for people in the Pontianak area or its surroundings who need one-day passport service, they must refer to PP Number 28 of 2019 concerning Types and Rates for state revenues, not legal and human rights ministry taxes.

"Regarding the passport fee for the acceleration service, it is Rp. 1 million. As for the type of passport that is usually Rp. 350 thousand, the type of electronic passport is Rp. 650 thousand," he said.

He said that people who need direct services are welcome to come to the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Pontianak or to the nearest immigration area and ask for directions from officers.

"So, if you want to apply for a passport directly to the office, you can ask for help from the Head of Subdivision Service to ask how to meet the passport service requirements for one day and finished. Please come at a maximum until 10:00 am, because after taking a photo session, then at 3 pm the passport has been completed," he said.
