JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Ministry of Finance held a coordination meeting regarding plans to utilize central government assets left in Jakarta when the State Capital (IKN) officially moved to East Kalimantan.

Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono revealed that the Ministry of Finance as the manager of state property (BMN) for all assets belonging to the central government will decide on a strategy for utilizing assets that cannot be brought to IKN.

"The decision on what use it will be like is the authority of the Ministry of Finance. We hope that development growth in IKN Nusantara will continue, while the sustainability of development planning in DKI Jakarta will also run well," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, February 10.

Meanwhile, Heru admitted that the DKI Provincial Government will accommodate the central government in the plan to use spatial planning using the basic regulations in Jakarta.

"All government offices after IKN want to be rented, borrowed and used, all kinds of things, by spatial planning, we have to back up. So, development growth in IKN is running, here it is also going well," said Heru.

Continuing, the Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance Rionald Silaban revealed that the nominal estimate of central government assets in the nature of vertical offices in Jakarta reached Rp400 trillion.

"The central government asset in Jakarta is around Rp. 1,400 trillion. That's the value we did a few years ago and a further assessment will be carried out. From Rp. 1,400, it is estimated that there are Rp. 300 trillion to Rp. 400 trillion that can be used, because for central government assets that are vertical, right, they will not be moved," explained Rionald.

From these assets, the Ministry of Finance asked the DKI Provincial Government for assistance in formulating its utilization strategy when it is no longer used by ministries or institutions because it moves to East Kalimantan. One of the strategies is to keep the value of assets optimal.

"In order to increase the valuation of these assets, we ask for the views of the Governor and the ranks of the regional government. So, in the end, the assets will be optimal and the value will reach the highest value. We are currently preparing a grand design related to the use of BMN," he added.
