JAKARTA - A mobile trader with the initials BA (42) did not move when he was arrested by members of the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The perpetrator was arrested for committing acts of obscenity against four elementary school children (SD) in the Tambora area, West Jakarta.

Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama said this obscene act was successfully uncovered with the help of other traders. The suspect with the initials BA comes from East Bangunsari Village, Batang District, Batang Regency, Central Java.

The police also confiscated evidence in the form of a cellphone belonging to the perpetrator containing photos of minors.

"The suspect BA, we suspect, is a pedophilia actor. He found many photos of children on the perpetrator's cellphone. Based on the suspect's confession, he got the photos from the internet," he said.

The suspect BA is still undergoing examination at the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit for further investigation.
