Heru Budi Asks His Subordinates To Rutin Pangkas Tree When DKI Weather Is Extreme

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono asked the City Parks and Forest Service (Distamhut) to routinely trim trees to prevent incidents of fallen trees during heavy rains and strong winds.

"A fallen tree, of course, the Plantation Service must cut," said Heru at SMPN 51 Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Friday, February 10.

He said that in response to the large number of fallen trees in Jakarta during the rainy season. Heru also asked the DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) to respond quickly in evacuating fallen trees. "The speed with which BPBD is also important to help evacuate fallen trees," he said.

Previously, the DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) together with a joint team evacuated four residents who suffered minor injuries as a result of being hit by a tree that fell due to rain and wind.

"There are minor injuries in Central Jakarta and North Jakarta," said Head of the DKI BPBD Data and Information Center M Insyaf in Jakarta, Thursday.

He explained that three minor injuries in Kelapa Gading Barat Village, North Jakarta and one minor injuries in Cikini Village, Central Jakarta.

They were immediately treated at the scene, assisted by local residents because they suffered minor injuries.

BPBD DKI recorded that until 14.00 WIB, 14 trees fell evenly in five areas in DKI Jakarta.

In Central Jakarta, it was recorded that one tree fell, North Jakarta (3), West Jakarta (2), South Jakarta (7) and East Jakarta (1).

The fallen tree also hit five units of power lines, cables for disaster early detection systems (1), roofs of buildings (1), buildings (3) and box cars (1).

There is also a fallen tree distribution point, namely Jalan Cut Mutia, Central Jakarta, then in South Jakarta it is spread on Jalan Bangka VIII, Jalan Taman Lebak Bulus II, Jalan Bangka VIII B and the roof of the prayer room at SD 04 Srengseng Sawah.

Then on Jalan NIS Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Pondok Putri security post on Jalan Batu, Srengseng Sawah and Jalan Raya Kebagusan, Ragunan Village.

Furthermore, in North Jakarta on Jalan RE Martadinata, Jalan Raya Gading Bukit Indah Kelapa Gading, Jalan Armain Marunda and Jalan Sumagung Kelapa Gading. Meanwhile, West Jakarta on Jalan H Tohir Sukabumi Selatan Kebon Jeruk and in East Jakarta is on Jalan TB Simatupang, Pasar Rebo.
