"BANDA ACEH - The Aceh Besar District Government stated that it involves all cross-sectors and stakeholders in efforts to deal with stunting in the local area. We continue to do our best to handle stunting/bad stunting in Aceh Besar, one of which is through joint synergy across sectors related to and stakeholders," said Acting Regent Aceh Besar, Muhammad Iswanto, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 8. He explained that his party is also moving together with all stakeholders to deal with health problems, especially in an effort to prevent and suppress stunting rates in Aceh Besar Regency. Iswanto mentioned that based on data from the 2022 Aceh Besar District Nutrition Status Survey, the stunting rate was at 27 percent or down five percent from the previous year. Then to keep the generation in the district, his party also continues to intensify the socialization of the impact of polio disease to the community accompanied by continuing to monitor, encourage and do and succeed in the Sub PIN Polio according to the target. Furthermore, in an effort to deal with the reduction in maternal and child mortality rates, his party also continues to improve the quality of health services and quality of public health facilities and infrastructure, as well as various health handling processes. We also continue to strive for improvements in the health sector to remote and archipelagic areas, namely Pulo Aceh, one of which is by providing sea ambulances.
