JAKARTA - Manager of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung in Lebak Regency, seeks to improve medical service facilities so that he can become an educational hospital.

"We are targeting this year that cooperation has been signed with Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung and Untirta Serang Hospitals," he said.

Rangkasbitung Adjidarmo Hospital is now classified as a class B public hospital and has received plenary accreditation, so it is appropriate to become an educational hospital.

Class B hospitals provide general medical service facilities, emergency services, basic specialist medical services, medical support specialist services, other specialist medical services, oral dental specialist medical services, sub-specialist medical services, nursing and midwifery services, clinical support services, and non-clinical support services.

Jauhari said that RSUD Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung currently has three obstetricians, three internal medicine specialists, two neuroscientists, two anesthetists, one orthopedic specialist, two THT specialists (cells, noses, throats), two cardiac practitioners, five surgeons, and two lung specialists.

RSUD Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung, he continued, still needed five specialist doctors consisting of two pediatricians, one eye specialist, one psychiatrist, and one dermatologist.

"We need five specialist doctors and have proposed to the local government through the Health Service," he said.

"We certainly really need the availability of specialist doctors, because that is a requirement to become an educational hospital," he said.

After fulfilling the requirements to become an educational hospital, he said, Rangkasbitung Adjidarmo Hospital can carry out its function as an integrated health, education, and research service facility.
