Jalan Utama Bandung-Garut Wilayah Leles Rusak, Pemkab Asked The West Java Provincial Government To Make Efforts To Improve

GARUT - The Garut Regency Government asked the West Java Provincial Government to immediately repair the main Bandung-Garut road in the Leles area before Lebaran. It was observed that the condition of the road had been damaged for a long time and had potholes, thus hampering the speed of vehicles from both directions. Deputy Regent of Garut Helmi Budiman admitted that he had reported to the West Java Provincial Government regarding the damaged provincial roads to be repaired immediately. Improvements have indeed been made, but due to the rainy season, road conditions have been damaged again. "Already called and efforts have been made, but I see that only three days have holes, now it's waiting for the auction, so there is indeed road rehabilitation," he said in Garut as reported by Antara, Tuesday, February 7. A number of other damaged roads will also be repaired by the Garut Regency Government before Eid. Currently, he said, it is still in the process of preparing the auction for the road repair project in Garut, especially the area with many potholes. "Hopefully we and the Regent are targeting before Lebaran to finish the gaps," he said. One road user from Garut Ferdiansyah admitted that he was quite disturbed by the damage to the main Bandung-Garut road in the Leles area which had long been damaged. He hopes that the government will immediately repair the road so that road users, especially motorcyclists, can drive their vehicles safely and comfortably. "I often go to Bandung, every time I pass the damaged road, it's uncomfortable, especially at night, like it or not there is a hole, if left alone it can be dangerous," he said.
