Update On COVID-19 As Of February 7th: New Case 392 From Examination 32,773 Speciments

The COVID-19 Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 32,773 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 392 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,731,696 people and active cases have increased by 124 to 4,184 cases," said COVID-19 Task Force data, Tuesday, February 7.

Today's recovered cases increased by 259 people, bringing the total to 6,566,663 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 9 cases and a total of 160,847 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 200 cases and a total of 1,540,182 cases. Followed by West Java which has 70 new cases with a total of 1,235,295 cases. East Java has 31 new cases and a total of 637,728 cases. Banten has 19 new cases and a total of 366,041 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 70 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 51 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 46 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 17 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 114,956,057.

"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 1.61 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 1,648 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently there are 203,808,462 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,795,309 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 69,623,284 and the fourth dose was 1,676,968. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
