The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Cimahi Police arrested the biological father with the initials A (37) on suspicion of molesting a 10-year-old girl to death in Cimahi City, West Java, due to money problems.

Cimahi Police Chief AKBP Aldi Subartono said there were two biological children, brothers, who were victims of abuse aged 10 years and 12 years. However, a 10-year-old child died, while his brother was still safe and undergoing treatment. "The perpetrator abused the victim with a beating and a kick about 15 times, while his brother was also beaten and kicked about 7 times," said Aldi in Cimahi City, West Java, Tuesday, February 7, as reported by Antara. From the results of the examination, the perpetrator was upset because his son took Rp. 450 thousand. Then the perpetrator got emotional and angry so he assaulted the victim. The police chief explained that the abuse took place in a rented house, Jalan Pesantren, North Cimahi Village, Monday (6/2).

Aldi said residents in the vicinity did not hear any screams before the murder was discovered. "However, neighbors often hear voices of pauses, and we ask the perpetrators also when assaulting them, indeed the two victims did not cry," he said.

According to Aldi, the perpetrator with the initials A worked as buskers. The two children did not go to school even though they had entered school age. For this reason, he is still investigating the case, including conducting psychological examinations of the perpetrators. "The wife or stepmother of the two victims are still being investigated," said Aldi.
