JAKARTA - The Susi Air plane allegedly burned by the KKB in Nduga, Central Papua on Tuesday, February 7. The pilot and passenger with flight number SI 9368 is not yet known.

Susi Air's attorney Donald Fariz said his party was investigating the cause of the fire. Including searching for the whereabouts of New Zealand national aircraft pilots and the five passengers he transported.

"We are currently conducting a search regarding the whereabouts of the pilots, which until today we have not and until this hour we have not been able to confirm the exact location, including the passengers who boarded the plane," Donald said in a written statement, Tuesday, February 7.

Donal said Susi Air had coordinated with the security forces to assist in the process of resolving the incident that happened to the passenger and plane type Porter.

"Of course we are coordinating and communicating with the relevant authorities to help speed up the process of knowing about the incident, the existence of pilots and matters relating to the events that occurred this morning," he said.

Previously, it was reported that Susi Air's plane was allegedly burned by an armed criminal group (KKB) at the Paro airport, Paro District, Nduga, Central Papua on Tuesday, February 7 morning.

Based on Antara's report, the plane piloted by Captain Philips M. was carrying five passengers, including a baby.

The plane is scheduled to fly from Timika at 05.33 WIT and is scheduled to arrive at Moses Kilangin Timika Airport at 07.40 WIT.
