TARAKAN - The Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal Arifin Paliwang was introduced to one of the works of the nation's children, namely the Spider's Nest Construction Foundation (FKSLL) by the Main Commissioner of PT Katama Suryabumi Said Saile.
"He (the Governor) was very welcome, positively responded to what the team had conveyed. Then from the participants who were attended by the head of the service, they thought that this construction was very appropriate for use in Kaltara because it was in accordance with the soil conditions, and the construction time was faster and more efficient," said Said Saile in Tanjung Selor, Bulungan, as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, February 6.
His arrival met Governor Zainal on Thursday (2/2) to introduce one of the works of the nation's children, namely FKSLL.
He explained that this FKSLL is a combination of flat concrete construction around the building and in the middle of the building which is called rib.
This foundation is intended for buildings with a responsibility of two to eight floors, airports, roads, and so on.
"As experience, the Juwata Tarakan Airport Apron also uses cobweb construction," he said.

In terms of financing and time, KSLL is considered more efficient to implement in Kaltara, because the materials used are quite easy to obtain in Kaltara. For its own superiority, this foundation is claimed to be earthquake resistant.
"We are trying to develop this for the Kaltara area. Because of the conditions for buildings in Kaltara that should use deep foundations," he said.
The material for the internal foundation is like piles that have to be imported from outside the area, so it takes a long time to mobilize.
"Apart from that, the cost is also more economical than the pile can save 10-30 percent compared to conventional construction, depending on the condition of the soil," he said.
