ACEH - A number of people in Aceh Province carried out bald shaving together on the commemoration of World Cancer Day 2023 in Banda Aceh City. This is a form of support for fighters with cancer. Commemoration of World Cancer Day in Aceh took place during Car Free Day (CFD) in the Jalan T Daud Bereueh area, Banda Aceh. He explained that cancer can be prevented, especially by promoting a healthy lifestyle. "The main cause of cancer is unknown, but there are things that can trigger cancer because of bad habits, such as not exercising, lack of drinking, lack of fluids, smoking, liking burning foods, because they are all carcinogenic," he said. The Director General of Disease Prevention and Control at the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, said that periodic examinations to detect cancer from an early age can reduce 30 to 40 risk of death from cancer.
