BPUA - The body of Bripda Steven Warpar Randongkir, a member of the Bintang Mountains Police who fell into the Diguel River, was found in Arim Village, Iwur District. The Head of the Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Muhammad Dafi Bustomi, said that the body of Bripda Randongkir was found on the banks of the river which was quite far from the crime scene (TKP) where the body of Bripda Risman Rahman was found. "Indeed, the location is far apart and when the body was found, it was on the banks of the river," he told Antara in Jayapura, Friday, February 3. Currently, the body is buried in the Bintang Mountains Police Chief in Oksibil and is scheduled for Saturday to be evacuated to Jayapura for further delivery to Biak. "The plan is for the body of Bripda Randongkir to be buried in Biak," explained AKBP Dafi Bustomi. He said the people in Iwur District were very helpful in their search for the victims who fell when the tree that was the link for the suspension bridge fell so they fell into the Diguel River. The incident that occurred Saturday (28/1) when a group of the Pegubin Police and the Pamtas Battalion 143/TWEJ Task Force were about to make a working visit to the Iwur post and when they crossed the suspension bridge, the case occurred. Pratu Ferdian's body was found on Sunday (29/1) and has been buried in his hometown in Klaten, Central Java. Meanwhile, Bripda Risman Rahman, who was found on Tuesday evening (31/1) and on Thursday (2/2) was evacuated to Timika for burial in the city. "Currently, the search for Brigadier Yohanes Matteus is still being carried out," explained AKBP Dafi Bustomi.
