Abuser And Rapist Of A Female Teenager Detained By Ende Police

ENDE - Ende Police, East Nusa Tenggara, detained ASD (40) the perpetrator of the abuse and rape of a 17-year-old girl.

"The suspect was arrested yesterday and is currently being detained for the next 20 days," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ende Police, Iptu Yance Yauri Kadiaman, as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 2.

He said the Ende Police would carry out an investigation and examine the witnesses followed by sending the case file to the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

The perpetrator ASD carried out the assault by repeatedly hitting the victim on the cheek, thigh, hand, calf, and back using a piece of wood. The victim's body was bruised.

"The motive for the persecution was to fulfill the suspect's desire, because the relationship between the suspect and the victim was a dating relationship. The suspect had sexual intercourse four times and abused the victim," he said.

The suspect had been on the run for 18 days since the police report was made on January 14. The suspect is also a recidivist in a theft case and has previously served prison time.
