"The foreign tourism market target has been significantly increased this year with several policies such as increasing the number of flights, the president has given directions for accelerated development so as to create business opportunities as well as employment opportunities," explained Sandiaga Uno.

In addition to the policy on flights, continued Sandiaga Uno, there is also a matter of convenience in terms of organizing events which are expected to trigger creative activities, such as music and sports which are expected to encourage the creation of foreign tourists.

"Finally (the president's order) is about the target of job creation and several flagship programs such as empowerment of MSMEs, tourist villages and creative villages which are expected to achieve the 2024 target of creating 4.4 million new and quality jobs," said Sandiaga Uno.
