JAKARTA - The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) assesses that Kompol D must be criminally processed regarding his affair with Audi A6 passenger, Nur. The reason is that the member of Polda Metro Jaya violated the Domestic Violence Act (KDRT).

"The person concerned not only violates the code of ethics, but as an ASN also violates the Marriage Law and its derivative rules for ASN, and is a criminal act of domestic violence. The person concerned must be processed by a code of ethics and criminal code," Kompolnas Commissioner Poengky Indarti told VOI, Wednesday, February 1.

The rules of domestic violence were violated by Kompol D because infidelity was included in the form of a violation. There are even sanctions governing it.

"Infidelity alone is a form of domestic violence as referred to in Article 5 of the PKDRT Law and the threat of punishment is emphasized in Article 45 of the PKDRT Law. Especially if you dare to marry sirri," he said.

It is said that criminal sanctions must be carried out to provide a deterrent effect. Especially, other members of the National Police must obey the rules.

"For ethical sanctions, the maximum threat is PTDH because it is categorized as a serious violation, and for criminal sanctions a maximum threat of 3 years in prison," said Poengky.

Meanwhile, Kompol D has been declared to have violated Polri ethics because he has had a special relationship with Nur since last year.

His actions violated Article 5 paragraph 1 letter b and personality ethics in the form of committing adultery or adultery Article 13 letter f of the National Police Chief's Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission.

As a sanction, Kompol D was placed in a special place (patsus) for 21 days.
