TANGERANG A clothing store on Jalan Paku Jayam Serpong Utara, South Tangerang was raided by Satpol PP. Not because the shop sells used clothes which are currently trending with the term thrifting. Instead, the shop is also used as a place for prostitution.

Secretary of the South Tangerang Satpol PP, Sapta Mulyana, said that of the 16 who were arrested, six of them were women.

"10 men and 6 women. Plus one owner we ask for further information," said Sapta in his statement, Tuesday, January 31.

Sapta explained that the initial raids started from public reports regarding the existence of prostitution places under the guise of clothing stores.

"Precisely at Ruko Mulia, there is one shop where the front floor of the shop peddles its merchandise in the form of clothes," he said.

"When we checked the top floor, it turned out that on the second floor there were rooms where the reason for massage therapy was used. But we caught the couple inside who was indicated to have completed the relationship," he continued.

After the raid, said Sapta, a number of women along with mashers and shop owners were brought to the Social Service for further action.

"We will submit it to the Social Service (Social Service) to be given further treatment," he concluded.
