Claims To Replace Heru Budi As Kasetpres, Agung Wahono Was Arrested By The Central Java Police

The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police arrested a man with the initials JW alias Agung Wahono who claimed to be the Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) replacing Heru Budi Hartono who was appointed Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Iqbal Alqudusy, said that the disclosure of the alleged fake Kasetpres stemmed from news in a number of online media and uploads on social media.

In uploads circulating on social media, it is stated about the gratitude for the appointment of Agung Wahono as the Indonesian Kasetpres.

In the background of the tasyakuran activity, it was also stated that Decree Number 568A / I / 2023 dated January 19, 2023 regarding the appointment of Agung Wahono as the Presidential Kasetpres of the Republic of Indonesia.

From the results of the investigation, the police arrested JW alias Agung Wahono (45), a resident of Batursari, Mranggen District, Demak Regency.

"The police received information about the existence of tasyakuran activities located in front of the ADA Majapahit supermarket and one of the apartments in Semarang City," said Kombes Iqbal, Monday, January 30.

From the suspect, the police secured a number of evidences such as ID cards and family cards which were allegedly fake on behalf of Agung Wahono, fake legal master's diplomas, as well as photos of Kasetpres' assessment activities.

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Law Number 23 of 2006 concerning Population Administration and or Article 264 of the Criminal Code concerning forgery.
