Strengthen Visiting Gerindra-PKB Secretary Not The Bank Of AHY's Appeal, NasDem: We Stay With Democrats-PKS

Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the NasDem Party Ahmad Ali dismissed the assumption that his party's visit to the Joint Secretariat (Sekber) of Gerindra-PKB was a form of rejection of the invitation from the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

AHY, who recently emphasized his support for Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate in 2024, invited NasDem and PKS to immediately form a joint secretariat as evidence of seriousness and commitment. Not yet worried about this invitation, NasDem visited other political parties outside the Democrats-PKS.

Ali explained that today's NasDem visit to the Gerindra-PKB Secretary was not an opportunity to be carried out. However, it has been planned since last week, before AHY conveyed an invitation to form a joint secretariat.

"So I don't think it will reduce the substance of the statement, today's visit has not reduced anything, we are still with the Democrats and PKS," said Ali at the Gerindra-PKB Secretary, Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 26, as reported by Antara.

NasDem became the first political party to come to the Gerindra-PKB Secretary after being inaugurated on Monday, January 23.

When he arrived at the Gerindra-PKB Secretary on Thursday, January 26 at 12.23 WIB, Ali's arrival was welcomed by a number of high-ranking Gerindra Party and PKB Party officials, including the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Secretary General of the PKB DPP Syaiful Huda.

Ali came accompanied by five members of the NasDem Party DPP, including the Chairman of the NasDem Party DPP Willy Aditya. Following arriving at the Gerindra-PKB Secretary, approximately half an hour after Ali, Deputy Chairperson of the PKB DPP Jazilul Fawaid and Chairman of the PKB DPP Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal.

Previously, the chairman of the Democratic Party, AHY, invited NasDem and PKS to immediately form a joint secretariat after declaring the Change Coalition.

"The Democrat Coalition, PKS, and Nasdem are united by the same vision and spirit, the same fate and struggle, to carry out the mandate of the people who want change and improvement in the life of society, nation and state," he said in a written statement, Thursday, January 26 morning.
