JAMBI - The Jambi City Government (Pemkot) is implementing sanctions for coal transportation which continue to stubbornly enter city roads.

Jambi Mayor Syarif Fasha said that the imposition of sanctions was given due to the rampant coal transportation entering the city, causing road damage.

"Efforts made to violators of this provision range from detention of vehicles for two weeks to one month, cumulative ticketing, imposition of a maximum fine of Rp. 50 million, imprisonment to imprisonment for a maximum of six months," he said, Thursday, January 26.
