JAMBI - The Jambi Provincial Government (Pemprov) has again proposed and asked for the disbursement of corporate social responsibility (Corporate Social Responsibility / CSR) coal funds to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
"The Jambi Provincial Government will continue to fund CSR coal to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, so that it can be used to repair damaged roads due to being crossed by coal trucks," said Jambi Provincial Secretary (Sekda) Sudirman in Jambi, Antara, Tuesday, January 24.
The Jambi Provincial Government plans to visit the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources regarding the CSR coal fund in 2022 which has not been disbursed. Until now, the provincial government does not know the CSR funds are in the form of work or in the form of money.
"To ensure that, the Jambi Provincial Government will immediately come to the central government to question this and to find out the real realization of CSR funds for repairing roads through damaged coal transportation in Jambi," said Sudirman.
The Jambi Provincial Government has yet to accept the realization of the use of the CSR coal fund and also does not know exactly what caused the CSR has not been distributed by the central government to the provincial government.
"We will continue to communicate so that it can be disbursed immediately, what is the problem with whether the funds are not collected or what and it also uses to repair damaged road roads, especially national roads," said Sudirman.
The first budget is intended for road repairs, national roads, provinces, and districts and currently the team has mapped which roads are traversed by badly damaged coal transportation and later the CSR funds will allocate funds for the short term to patch potholes.
Prioritizing the road that is traversed by coal from Tebo - Sarolangun - Batang Hari - Muaro Jambi to Jambi City and for the short term repairing potholes for asphalt, it is hoped that this year.
"If CSR funds can be used for national, provincial or district roads, which essentially route traffic that does not cause public losses," said Sudirman.
