JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency immediately disbursed a grant of IDR 75.4 billion to the Polda Metro Jaya to support the implementation of the electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) phase three 2023.
"This has been processed and we hope that in the near future a governor's decision will be issued regarding the determination of the ETLE grant," said Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo in a working meeting with the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya with Commission B at the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Tuesday, January 24, as reported by Antara.
The budget allocation for the 2023 ETLE grant from the DKI Provincial Government to the Polda Metro Jaya reached Rp75.4 billion for 70 road points in Jakarta.
The third stage of ETLE will be spread across 70 road points in DKI Jakarta, adding 57 existing first and second ETLE points.
The DKI Transportation Agency explained the next step, namely the signing of a Regional Grant Agreement (NPHD) between the DKI Transportation Service and the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya.
The NPHD was prepared by the Regional Apparatus Work Unit (SKPD) based on a letter requesting the signing of the NPHD from a prospective grant recipient, namely the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya.
After that, the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya submitted a letter of proposal for disbursement of the money grant to the DKI Transportation Agency with administrative documents.
Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Latif Usman hopes that the money grant will be disbursed on time because it considers the auction for two months and the implementation of phase three ETLE work for five months.
Based on the time plan (timeline) of the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, in March 2023 the issuance of the DKI Governor's Decree on ETLE Grants, then in April the NPHD process began.
Furthermore, in May-June, the auction process is planned and in July 2023 the process of implementing the ETLE work begins.
"With this system, I believe, it will not take long for order (traffic) to be realized in the city of Jakarta," he said.
The DKI Transportation Agency noted that initially the 2023 ETLE grant fund was proposed at IDR 79 billion and there was an adjustment due to the Value Added Tax (PPn) to IDR 80.6 billion.
After being evaluated by the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency regarding the market price survey, there was a correction of IDR 5.2 billion so that the allocation of cash grant funds became IDR 75.4 billion.
As for the first stage of ETLE from the independent budget by Polda Metro Jaya, there were 12 points, then the second stage of the budget from the DKI Provincial Government grant in 2019 was IDR 38 billion for 45 ETLE points.
