Fadli Zon Pastikan Prabowo Dan Cak Imin Komunikasi Soal Capres Ke Jokowi, Tapi Keputusan Tetap Ranah Ketum Parpol

JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party Fadli Zon, confirmed that the General Chair Prabowo Subianto and PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin would communicate the presidential and vice presidential candidates to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). This is because the two parties are the coalition political parties of the Jokowi-Maruf Amin government. "It is certain (communication with Jokowi, ed)," said Fadli Zon when asked about the communication with Jokowi regarding the presidential candidate, to reporters in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, January 23. However, Fadli emphasized that the decision regarding the name of the presidential and vice presidential candidates is the authority of the respective political chairman. It is known, Prabowo has received the results of the Ijtima' Ulama Nusantara from Cak Imin so that the presidential and vice presidential candidates will be determined immediately before Ramadan. "I think that's the domain of the general chairman," he said.

As a democratic country, added the member of Commission I of the DPR, there must be communication with the president. However, the issue of nominating candidates who want the 2024 presidential election is the domain of political parties.
