BULUKUMBA - The Regency Government (Pemkab) of Bulukumba, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) proposed assistance for land acquisition for the Bulukumba tourist airport to the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of South Sulawesi amounting to Rp35 billion.
"The Bulukumba Regency Government has submitted a proposal for financial assistance for land acquisition for the Bulukumba tourist airport to the South Sulawesi Provincial Government in the amount of Rp35 billion," said Secretary of the Bulukumba Transportation Service Idham Khalid in Makassar, Antara, Sunday, January 22.
He said the Bulukumba Regency Government would immediately acquire land belonging to residents in two sub-districts in Bulukumba to be used as tourist airport land.
The locations are in two sub-districts in Bulukumba, namely Bontobahari and Bontotiro sub-districts.
The South Sulawesi Provincial Government itself, he said, had discussed with the Bulukumba Regency Government regarding the location of the Bulukumba tourist airport.
According to him, the plan to procure the tourist airport is due to the large number of tourist complaints to access tourist destination locations in Bulukumba in terms of travel distance via land for about 4-5 hours.
The first phase of land acquisition planning has been budgeted for in 2022 at the Bulukumba Settlement Housing Service.
Meanwhile, the second stage of the revision of the feasibility study (FS) has been budgeted at Bappelitbangda Bulukumba.
The plan has been completed, then prepare the land acquisition document by the Governor of South Sulawesi whose output is the determination of the location (penlok).
"The provincial government will socialize land acquisition documents before the issuance of a penlok decision letter. After that, it will be continued to the implementation stage by the provincial BPN," said Idham.
He emphasized that if the overall stage has been fulfilled, it will be budgeted through the Ministry of Transportation.
