Agus Yudhoyono: It Feels Like Tomorrow The Election Will Be Held, The Democrats Will Win The General Election And Presidential Election

Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) asked his cadres to maintain the fighting spirit until the February 14, 2024 elections. Agus Yudhoyono boasted that if tomorrow the election was held, the Democrats could become champions.

"If you look at the current enthusiasm and cohesiveness of the Democratic Party cadres, I feel that if tomorrow the election is held I am optimistic that the Democratic Party will win the General Election and Presidential Election," said Agus Yudhoyono when inaugurating the 17 DPC Board of the Democratic Party in South Sumatra in Palembang, Thursday 19 January.

Agus Yudhoyono said, the spirit of struggle and cohesiveness of all cadres of the Democratic Party need to be maintained and even improved so that they can realize the common goal of becoming a big party that can fight for the pro-people program optimally.

"If the Democrat Party achieves success in the 2024 General Election, it can be continued successfully by simultaneous regional head elections (Pilkada) on November 27, 2024," he said as quoted by Antara.

He explained that before going to Palembang City he and his wife Anisa Larasati Pohan and a number of central administrators of the Democratic Party made the inauguration of regional administrators in Bandar Lampung.

The road trip from Bandar Lampung to Palembang is very fun because the two cities are filled with blue attributes from the Democratic Party.

"I ask the administrators and cadres of the Democratic Party in 17 regencies and cities within the South Sumatra Province to continue to make their respective regions. Make the sky and Sunga Musi blue until the 2024 General Election with the growing attributes of parties and cadres," said AHY.

By bringing down the South Sumatra region, there will be more seats at the DPR-RI, provincial DPRD, and district/city DPRD levels, even more Democratic Party cadres who sit as regional heads in 2024.

Currently, only two members of the DPR-RI from the Democratic Party for the South Sumatra election, and nine members of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, as well as one Regent in Lahat Regency, Cik Ujang and the Mayor in Palembang, Harnojoyo.

"Getting seats in the DPR-RI and DPRD needs to be improved in the 2024 election, if the Democratic Party is strong in parliament, it can fight for all pro-people programs and make changes to make the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) better and more prosperous," said the chairman of the AHY Democratic Party.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Palembang City, Yudha Pratomo Mahyudin, represented all the administrators at the inauguration of the Chairman of the DPC of the Democratic Party in South Sumatra, thanking the Chairman of AHY and the group who took the time to attend Bumi Sriwijaya.

"We, all DPC administrators spread across 17 regencies/cities, are ready to accept the mandate and one command under the leadership of the AHY Chairman," he said.

After being officially sworn in today, all Democrat Party administrators and cadres in the South Sumatra region will fight even harder to attract public sympathy and lead Ketum AHY to participate in the presidential and vice presidential election contestation in the 2024 election.

With the electability capital of the Democratic Party under the leadership of the AHY Chairman which continues to increase, he is optimistic that he can win in the 2024 General Election.

"It's time for this republic to be led by the best people like Agus Hari Mukti Yudhoyono, the Democratic Party to win, AHY President 2024," said Yudha.
