Although Rarely Meeting, AHY Considers Anies A Friend Who Has Flying Chemistry

JAKARTA - The Democrat Party admits that it is still establishing political communication with NasDem and PKS to build a coalition to welcome the 2024 General Election.

"Collision, every political party certainly strives to build it so that together we have opportunities, as well as Democrats. What is clear from the start, we, which is currently an opposition party, have a narrative 'Perjuangan untuk Perubahan dan Perbaikan'," said Chairman of the DPP Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), in Bandarlampung, Wednesday, January 18, quoted in Antara.

AHY said, along with the time travel the Democratic Party is looking for other friends in the struggle because to fight alone this party cannot participate in the 2024 presidential election contestation

Thus, he continued, the Democratic Party and other parties, namely PKS and NasDem, continue to build communication, but all of this requires a process.

"What is clear is that there must be a consensus on change and improvement, and of course it must represent the face of the change itself. So we are still discussing, exchanging ideas, and building a common consensus," he said.

It must be remembered, he said, that talking about a coalition does not only count one or two interests, but must accommodate everything.

"I think the time is still enough, this year we are continuing to process so that in the end an alternative coalition can be created, a coalition of changes, and a couple that can bring that spirit," he said.

Asked about his chances of a duet with Anis Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election, AHY admitted that he was friends with the former governor of DKI.

"My relationship with Anies and I are friends. Friends don't always have to meet, but I feel there is compatibility or 'chemistry' that exists, built from the journey of discussion not only thoughts but also hearts. And that's what's important," he explained.

According to him, the duet with Anis Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election is the aspiration and hope of many circles for this coalition of changes to be formed. Where his partner is not disappointing and can bring about the change itself.

"So it's not a couple that's just a pair, who can break up or run aground in the middle of the road because that's not what the community expects," he said.
