PSI Leaks The KPK Check The Workplace Of The Chairperson Of The DKI DPRD To The Opening Room Of The Golkar, PDIP, PKS And Gerindra Factions

JAKARTA - A number of PSI politicians leaked any room at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building which was searched by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Tuesday, January 18 afternoon until evening.

In addition to the room of Commission C of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, PSI Central Executive Board (DPP) Spokesperson Sigit Widodo revealed that the KPK searched the Golkar Faction room, PDIP Faction, and the room for the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi.

"KPK officers conducted searches on the 3rd floor (Commission C), 4 (Golkar), 8 (PDIP Faction), and 10th floor (DPRD Chair room) of the DKI DPRD building. The PSI faction room is on the 4th floor of the DKI DPRD building, but the other party factions were searched," Sigit told reporters, Wednesday, January 18.

Sigit claimed that the PSI Faction room was not searched because the KPK was investigating a corruption case in land acquisition in 2018-2019. Meanwhile, at that time PSI had not been included in the DKI parliament.

KPK investigators came to complete evidence of the alleged corruption case in land acquisition in Pulogebang. "This is a case in 2018, the PSI DKI faction only existed after the 2019 election," said Sigit.

Meanwhile, member of the PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Justin Adrian Untayana, also revealed that the KPK team also searched two other rooms, namely the Gerindra Faction room, the PKS Faction, and the PKB-PPP Faction.

"No PSI faction was searched. The 4th floor of the Golkar Faction room, 6th floor (PKS and PKB-PPP Faction rooms), 10th floor, and 2nd floor (Gerindra Faction room)," he said.

Yesterday, the KPK team searched the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta for about 5 hours. At around 20.55 WIB, the KPK team wearing masks came out carrying a number of suitcases. In a hurry, they immediately got into the car and left the location.

During the search, the DKI DPRD Building was under tight guard by inside security officers (pamdals). Access to entry to two buildings within the DKI DPRD is closed. Judging from the front, the lights in the entire lobby of the DKI DPRD building were turned off.

Based on information circulating, the KPK searched a number of rooms, including the Commission C room for the Finance Division of the DKI Jakarta DPRD to the DKI Jakarta DPRD Faction room.

During this search, the KPK tried to find evidence of alleged corruption in land acquisition in Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta by Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya in 2018-2019.

It is suspected that there has been a state loss of up to hundreds of billions of rupiah. However, the calculation is still ongoing. In addition, the anti-corruption commission has not announced the suspect in this case. The announcement will be made after all the evidence is collected.

Today's search was also confirmed by the KPK. "It is true, there was a search activity related to the collection of evidence of alleged corruption in land acquisition in Pulogebang," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters.

However, Ali did not want to specify what evidence the investigators found. He only said the findings obtained would be submitted to the public in due course. "We will convey the progress again," he said.
