SEMARANG - Police arrested four members of a gang of perpetrators of the destruction of a house on Jalan Cinde Raya, Semarang City. The action of the perpetrator who used a sharp weapon and a piece of wood with a political party flag was caught on surveillance cameras or CCTV. Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar said the perpetrators, consisting of three men and a woman, were arrested in several different locations. "The four perpetrators are MDF (20) and RS (20) residents of North Semarang, AA (22) residents of Gayamsari, Semarang City, and LIN (17) residents of Central Semarang," said Irwan in Semarang, Antara, Monday, January 16. The vandalism of Ryan Dwi Saputro's house began when a group of perpetrators and a number of their friends gathered while drinking liquor on Jalan Perbalan, Semarang City, on January 15, 2023. The group received information that the girlfriend of one of the gang members was invited to leave by the victim named Kalak who was also the target of the attack. The perpetrators who came to a house on Jalan Cinde Raya on Sunday, January 15 that morning immediately attacked and chased the victim who entered the house. They had tried to enter and destroy the door of the house using sharp weapons or a piece of wood with the flag of a political party. Police are still investigating the incident of the destruction of the house whose CCTV footage was spread on a number of social media.
