3 Garut Regional Apparatus Asked To Observing The Prohibition Of Selling Chiki Ngebul In School Environments

Deputy Regent of Garut Helmi Budiman instructed three regional work units (SKPD) to go to the field to oversee the circulation of ngbul chiki snacks containing liquid nitrogen in the school environment.

"This must immediately go down, the Health Office goes around to schools, and I also ask for help from the Education Office, Satpol PP as well," said Helmi Budiman in Garut, Monday.

He said three SKPDs received direct orders, namely the Health Service, Education Office, and the Garut Regency Civil Service Police Unit. They must immediately check directly on food snacks sold at schools.

All levels of government and society, said Helmi, must always be aware of food snacks circulating in schools, especially the Ngebul Chiki snacks that are dangerous for humans because they contain nitrogen.

"I have asked the Health Office, especially since there has been a letter from the Ministry of Health that it is prohibited, and I ask parents and teachers to supervise," said Helmi.

He explained that liquid nitrogen in Chiki Ngebul snacks can interfere with health, such as sore throats, damaging stomachs, and even gastric leakage can occur if consumed continuously.

In addition to Chiki Ngebul's snacks, he said, it is also necessary for other food products to be sold in the community, especially in the school environment to be monitored and checked to ensure that all foodstuffs used are safe for consumption.

The government's efforts, he said, were because they did not want the nation's generation at productive age to be sick with the impact of consuming dangerous foods when children were children.

"Today may not be felt, today is still healthy, the kidneys are still healthy, the heart is still healthy, but we don't know in 40 years, with dangerous foods, they may be okay from the productive age of 40 years, but they may not be productive because they are sick and sick," said Helmi.

He hopes that all elements of society will participate in supervising and preventing food snacks that contain harmful substances as a step to prepare a quality and intelligent generation of the nation.

"So we physically prepare, then we have to prepare our brains, we have to prepare ideas, so we really need a good space or class," said Helmi.
