Infantry Constantinus Rusmanto ensured that the security situation in the business area and around the nickel management industry of PT Gunbuster Nickle Industry (GNI) in North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, was conducive after the clash, Saturday, January 14. Let's spread this to the community so that no one is afraid and plans to leave the workplace so that the GNI can immediately operate again," said Constantinus during a meeting with the local government and community leaders led by the Regional Secretary of North Morowali Regency Musda Guntur in Kolonodale, Antara, Monday, January 16. The Dandim also dismissed rumors and rumors that mentioned the tense situation at the GNI, even though the situation is currently conducive. Therefore, positive information is needed to be spread to the public because after the incident it greatly affects big investments in Morowali. Regarding recovery efforts, said the Dandim, the most important thing is the assistance from the sub-district head and village heads to appeal to residents and community leaders, including immigrants in their respective areas so as not to be provoked by negative issues that are still circulating. "This is actually a peaceful action carried out by workers, but is ridden for other purposes. There are efforts to create a conflict between SARA (suku, religion, race and intergroup), both in North Morowali and between foreign workers (TKA) and Indonesian citizens. The Dandim said this incident could affect investor confidence, especially large companies that are investing in this district.
