Three Times Arrested For Drug Cases, Revaldo Was Newly Rehabilitated

Actor Revaldo Fifaldi Suria is involved in drug abuse three times. Two of them immediately went to trial without undergoing the rehabilitation stage.

"Against the second time he made this arrest, rehabilitation has never been carried out," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters, Saturday, January 14.

The two narcotics cases that ensnared Revaldo occurred in 2006 and 2010. At that time, he had to undergo criminal proceedings without being rehabilitated.

However, Trunoyudo emphasized that even though he was given the opportunity for rehabilitation, his criminal process would not stop.

Investigators will still complete the case files and transfer them to the prosecutor's office to enter the trial stage.

"The process (of punishment, ed) continues, yesterday I said this process is still going and then the right to provide health, and psychologically this must be in Rehab. But that doesn't mean eliminating the crime," he explained.

In addition, Revaldo's decision to undergo rehabilitation is not with investigators. Instead, the results of the assessment from the Provincial National Narcotics Band (BNNP).

"Based on the investigator's request for an integrated TAT or assessment team from the National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) after being studied, be it from my employer, psychologist, doctor element, this has 1 right to be given rehabilitation," said Trunoyudo.

Revaldo was arrested on suspicion of drug abuse of marijuana and methamphetamine in an apartment in the Jakarta area, on January 11.

With this arrest, Revaldo has been arrested three times for drug cases.

The first arrests took place in 2006 and then in 2010.

Deputy Director (Wadir) of Drugs at Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Donny Alexander said, based on the examination, Revaldo had been taking drugs again since the last year.

In fact, within a week he routinely uses these prohibited items.

"(Drug consumption) 4 times a week," said Donny.
