The Turn of Babinsa Jayawijaya Papua Mountains To Get a Motorbike From Defense Minister Prabowo

JAYAPURA - The Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto assisted with 25 motorbikes to be distributed to the Village Superintendent (Babinsa) in the Kodim 1702/Jayawijaya area, Papua Mountains.

Commander of the Military District 1702/JWY Lieutenant Colonel Cpn Athenius Murip said the 25 units of motorbikes assisted by the Minister of Defense had arrived in Wamena by using Hercules planes.

The motorbikes provided by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto will be distributed to Village Superintendent (Babinsa) to facilitate the performance of soldiers.

The motorbike accepted is a type of Honda CRF 150 L, year 2022, equipped with a helmet and other equipment.

This assistance is an effort to make it easier for members, especially those who serve as Babinsa in serving the community.

"As Dandim Jayawijaya, I am very grateful and fully support the government's program in maintaining and building defense and security stability in the Jayawijaya region", said CPN Lt. Col. Murip as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 9.

After thorough checking, a simultaneous test drive was carried out by riding a motorcycle from the airport to Makodim 1702/JWY led by Dandim 1702/JWY.
