Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani said there would be a surprise at the PDIP 50th Anniversary event on Tuesday, January 10. However, he said that only PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri knew what the surprise was. "Every birthday has a surprise. But the name is surprise, yes, I don't know. Only the general chairman (who knows, ed)," said Puan to reporters in the Central Jakarta area, Monday, January 9. Puan was economical about the surprise. Including, he may call the name of the presidential candidate who will be carried by the PDIP. "Just look at it, we'll wait for tomorrow," he said. Even so, Puan said that Megawati would later deliver a political speech. In it, the mind of the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia will be poured out. "There are parties from the general chairman, some from the heart, some from the mind, some who win have been recorded," he said. "If tomorrow suddenly there is a surprise who will be the name of the candidate for the PDI-P presidential candidate or vice presidential candidate, it is possible," continued Puan. Furthermore, Puan said that later there will be many interesting events in commemoration of PDIP's anniversary. Later, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will also attend. Meanwhile, for other party invitations, said Puan, they would not be invited. The reason is that the PDIP 50th Anniversary event will be internal. Even so, PDIP will prepare an event with the general chairman of other parties.
