The circular asks hospitals to focus on providing health services according to specialistics and subspecialistics needs, including the use of facilities, infrastructure, and medical devices.
In addition, every health worker must have competency standards that have been ratified in accordance with the provisions of the legislation or white paper, each specialist or subspecialist.
Health workers are also required to have a clinical appointment based on the recommendations of the medical committee from the head of the hospital where they are on duty.
"Recommendations from the medical committee are given based on competency certificates or additional competency certificates or other documents that prove the competence of medical personnel," he said.
The Ministry of Health also pays attention to the aspect of monitoring and evaluation of the application of shared competency which is carried out regularly in providing effective, quality and standardized health services to ensure patient quality and safety.
At this stage, the results of monitoring and evaluation are submitted to the Minister of Health through the Director General of Health Services every three months.
"Later on, the results of the report will be used as material to conduct an assessment in the hospital accreditation and reaccreditation process," he said.
