"Today, the number of patients recovering from COVID-19 has also increased by seven and none of the patients died," he said.

Head of the West Bangka Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Achmad Nursyandi, said that in the last few months the number of cases in the area had decreased and there had never been a significant spike in cases like the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We hope that a situation like this can continue to be maintained by the community while still complying with applicable health protocols so that the number of cases can continue to decline," he said.
