Previously, the Spokesperson for the Indonesian Ministry of Health Mohammad Syahril said the government's decision to end the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) was a sign that the pandemic in Indonesia was in very controlled condition.

"Even though the PPKM has been revoked, all parties need to remember that both the world and Indonesia are still in a pandemic atmosphere. In line with the statement by the World Health Organization (WHO) which said that if the pandemic had not ended, then the sign would end, so we must remain vigilant," he said.

He said PPKM was one of the strategies in efforts to prevent COVID-19. This is because the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Indonesia is very under control, namely marked by the rate of cases below 1,000 and this month there has been no very significant increase, including the number of hospitalizations and deaths.

In addition, community antibodies to the Corona virus based on the survey sero have reached an average of 98.5 percent. The indicator shows that the Indonesian nation already has immunity through vaccination and infection.

"Nevertheless, the public needs to remain alert to the possibility of a spike in cases in the future which is influenced by the emergence of new variants of the Corona virus," he said.
