JAKARTA - The Special Staff of the Vice President, Imam Azis, appreciates the efforts of the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, in managing the greenbelt of Bener Dam. What Ganjar does will be an example of development in the future.

This was conveyed when he witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement between BBWS Serayu Opak and the village government, for the management of the real dam green belt, at Gadingrejo Village Hall, Kepil District, Wonosobo Regency.

The man who was born in Pati said that the green belt management pattern carried out by Ganjar, the Serayu-Opak River Basin Center (BBWS-SO), together with the people of Wonosobo, was the first and only in Indonesia. Where the community is involved in managing the land for the national strategic project that has been acquired.

"I am always active (reporting) to the Vice President, because this is one and only pattern, where national strategic projects involve the community for land management that has been acquired. This will be a prototype of development patterns in the future," said Imam, Friday, December 30.

Meanwhile, Governor Ganjar Pranowo encouraged residents in three villages affected by Bener Dam to be active in the Tirto Cooperative Mulyo Bogowonto, so that they could get the maximum benefit of the existence of the cooperative. The three villages that took part in the cooperation agreement (PKS) were Gadingrejo, Burat, and Bener villages in Kepil District. The PKS is between BBWS-SO and the village government, which was then handed over to the Tirto Cooperative Mulyo Bogowonto.

Ganjar said he was happy with the cooperation. According to him, the people around the Bener Dam can take advantage of and access the Watershed.

Later on from the cooperative that will manage, plant assistance will be provided. There are also community initiatives," he said.

The white-haired governor also encouraged the management of his cooperative to be prepared as well as possible. Thus, all people can be involved in its management. Areas that have not been put to good use, said Ganjar, can be used for the welfare of residents.

Ganjar said that the total land affected by the green belt of Bener Dam for the Wonosobo area reaches 50 hectares. Meanwhile in Purworejo, which was affected by the green belt of about 33 hectares. A similar management model will also be implemented in Purworejo. Thus, in addition to feeling the benefits of the existence of Bener Dam, the community will also have a sense of belonging to the dam.

"We hope that there will be more benefits and the benefits can be seen with the naked eye. Here you know, for example in Wonosobo," he explained.

Meanwhile, a resident of Gadingrejo whose land was affected by Bener Dam, Suwasno, said he was happy with the cooperation. In line with Ganjar, he also hopes that the green belt in the area is managed as well as possible. One of the hopes is the maximum management of one type of plant.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Tirto Cooperative, Mulyo Bogowonto, Komarudin, said that currently the number of active cooperative members is 282 units. After this signing, management planning will be carried out immediately.
